Speed Dating Better was created to change that.

This is not traditional speed dating. There’s no loud bar, no rushed conversations, and no expectation that you must “find your match.”

Instead, we start with something different.

1. A Guided Ice-Breaking Workshop >>> We begin with a short, facilitator-led discussion on a topic related to communication, psychology, or personal development. This helps everyone relax, get grounded, and feel more comfortable talking to new people.

2. A Calm, Private Space >>> The event takes place at Marpole Community Hub, a quiet and welcoming community venue — not a bar or nightclub.

3. Connection Over Pressure >>> This event is about conversation, curiosity, and comfort. Romantic connection is welcome, but so is friendship. There’s no pressure to impress or decide anything on the spot.
