Sign up online to attend our event at Cause and Effect in Hamilton for ages 20-40 and meet many REAL human beings in person. No phone, app, facebook, or instagram is required!

We:

1. add unique twists. In full-house settings, singles can play an easy game and possibly win prizes.
2. provide topics on-site. This helps shy singles make new convos.
3. charge a price lower than competitors
4. accept many payment methods including cash.
5. give singles a free drink or other menu item from Cause and Effect.
6. never bring in people to represent fake participants.
7. are 100% transparent with communication.
8. never scam people.
9. never require speed dating event switching on anyone, even if yours becomes canceled.
10. are never joking when creating these events. Our posters appear in grocery stores and at select venues.
11. make match results more creative than simple yes/no responses.

1. Single ladies sit at a long table across from guys.
2. Both single guys and ladies chat together for about five minutes.
3. When bell rings, guys switch spots and ladies stay seated.
4. Process continues until everyone of one gender have chatted with those of the opposite gender.
5. Singles decide who they love by filling out speed dating match cards.
6. Mutual matches will score each others email address.

Participants can make their choices online or using our paper match cards inside the event.

• Messages we send come from our official website domain.
• We may discuss any payment/ticket issues with buyers.
• Singles will be notified by email of when they must arrive at Cause and Effect.
• We send match results 2-72 hours after speed dating ends.

We accept Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Interac E-Transfer, Google Pay, and cash.

Venue staff are NOT allowed to sell tickets or issue refunds on our behalf. You must order from us online.

You may assign a bought ticket to anyone else of the same gender if we are notified by sales end.

You can go to any of our future speed dating events without waiting for refunds then buying again if:

1. this one cancels, AND
2. you reply within 96 hours from when we sent you the event cancellation notice.

A refund may be available when:

• You ask for it earlier than 96 hours before sales end,
• Too few tickets were bought by the sales end date,
• The speed dating event is canceled by us and/or venue owner,
• A ticket must be voided (often to balance genders), OR
• You bought speed dating tickets incorrectly, illegally, or on here without sending us a message.

No refunds are issued for any other reason.
