Speed Dating (55-65 year olds)

We all need love and connection, and meeting in real life is making a massive comeback! If you’re tired of endless swiping, ghosting, and online small talk that never goes anywhere, this event is your chance to meet real single people face-to-face in a relaxed, friendly setting.

Who’s it for?
This event is for single people aged 55-65(we allow 3 years either side, so 52-68 is fine). The only rule is that you must be single and open to meeting new people – whether that’s for friendship, dating, or something more.

What to expect:
✨ To chat with the other people of the same gender when you arrive - this is how the evening starts! It's a great way to settle any nerves (as everyone starts out nervously so that makes you normal).

✨ A series of fun, relaxed mini-dates where you’ll chat one-to-one with other singles for just a few minutes each. (Enough time to see if there’s a spark, without any pressure.)
✨ A break between rounds so you can grab a drink, chat with others, and take the evening at your own pace.
✨ At the end, you can privately mark down who you’d like to see again – no awkward rejections, no pressure. If it’s a match, I’ll connect you afterwards!

Venue:
I am hosting this event at Shropshire Golf Centre, Muxton. The bar and restaurant are open beforehand, so you’re welcome to arrive early for a drink or food before the event starts (payable directly to the venue).

Info: You need to arrive by 7.15pm so we can start on time. Entry is not guaranteed if you arrive late. When you arrive, you will be introduced to the other attendees - men will meet the men in one bar and ladies will meet the ladies in another area (you will need to get a drink, ladies, before heading to the area I will set aside for you).

Info: There will be a break half way through where you can get drinks and use the bathroom
