Mark your calendars for something truly special! We're thrilled to host not one, but TWO exciting contests at our upcoming meeting: the International Speech Contest and the Evaluation Contest.
Whether you're a seasoned Toastmaster or new to our club, this is your chance to witness communication skills at their finest. Our talented members will be competing for the opportunity to advance to the next level of Toastmasters competition!
The International Speech Contest showcases our best prepared speeches. Contestants will deliver original 5-7 minute speeches on topics of their choosing, demonstrating their mastery of organization, content, and delivery. It's inspiring to see speakers pour their hearts into these powerful presentations!
The Evaluation Contest puts a spotlight on one of Toastmasters' most valuable skills: giving constructive feedback. Contestants will watch a test speech, then have just three minutes to deliver a thoughtful, helpful evaluation. It's a masterclass in listening, analysis, and communication!
Our panel of judges will evaluate each contestant, and we'll crown our club champions in both categories. Winners will move forward to represent Now Hear This at the Area Contest—an exciting step in their Toastmasters journey!
