🎃 Spectrum Spooktacular: Trunk or Treat & Autism Resource Fair 💙
Get ready for an afternoon of Halloween fun, community, and inclusion!
Empower the Spectrum, in partnership with Creekside Autism Center, invites families to our Spectrum Spooktacular Trunk or Treat & Autism Resource Fair—a fun and sensory-friendly Halloween experience designed with the autism community in mind and welcoming to children of all abilities.
This isn’t your typical resource fair! Local autism providers, organizations, and community resources will transform their trunks into festive trick-or-treat stops. While children collect treats, families will have an opportunity to meet organizations, learn about available services, and connect with resources that can support their families.
💙 Every participating child will receive a BLUE trick-or-treat bucket to use during the event in support of autism awareness and acceptance!
Families can also enjoy:
🎃 Pumpkin Painting – Create your own fall masterpiece to take home.
🍬 Sensory-Friendly Trunk or Treating – A welcoming environment where children can participate in a way that feels comfortable for them.
📸 Halloween & Fall Photo Mini Sessions – Capture a special fall memory while you’re there.
🧩 Autism & Community Resources – Connect with local organizations and learn about programs and services available to families.
🍭 Non-Food Treat Options – Because every child deserves to participate.
🤫 Quiet Area – A designated calm space will be available for children and families who need a break from the excitement.
There is no pressure to speak, make eye contact, wear a costume, or participate in every activity. Children are encouraged to experience Spectrum Spooktacular in whatever way works best for them.
