✧✵ Welcome to 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐑𝐀 ✵✧A queer- and dance-centered club space that celebrates esteemed and emerging underground artists from the Queer, Trans and BIPOC spectrum around the globe.
Expect a wide spectrum of visionary dance and club music while honoring its rich history and culture anchored in NYC and the Midwest US.
Let’s create a respectful and liberating club experience together and keep phones and conversations away from the dance floor.

✧✵ 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝘆 (𝗗𝗘/𝗖𝗔) [she/her] ✵✧
Canadian-born, Berlin-based artist Immy is a lifelong student of music history with a deep passion for NYC’s 1969–1999 music scenes, especially the disco and house eras of The Loft and Paradise Garage. Her selections span ambient, soul, funk, disco, reggae, house, techno, electro, hardcore, and progressive trance. A firm believer in the dance floor as a healing space, she weaves in acappella cuts to sharpen the narrative when the moment calls.

NAP, one of Daniel Rincón’s many monikers, is a Colombian-Canadian artist based in CDMX, known for his esteemed record label Isla, as well as his many collaborative projects including Ambien Baby with D. Tiffany. As a DJ he is a wildcard: everything goes and nothing is off-limits; an empathetic, hybrid, free-wheeling selector who brings this spirit to revered dance floors worldwide, from Nowadays and Public Records in NYC to Movement Detroit, Sunday Sunday CDMX, and Honcho Campout.

𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐑𝐀 is a club concept curated by Robin Flux, born from his passion for exploring the rich cultural heritage of global dance and club cultures from the US to Asia. Through his artistic journey that spans iconic venues and functions from NYC, Chicago and Detroit, to Tokyo and Seoul, he has developed an authentic voice as a DJ, producer, dancer, and curator. As an active member of the ballroom, whacking and house dance scenes, he is dedicated to foster community building and cultural exchange at the intersection of dance and club culture, internationally as well as locally, as the co-founder of Copenhagen-based sober club initiative 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐀𝐋 𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐆𝐄.
