K-Park, a 67-acre tract owned by the Village, is Wellington's largest remaining developable property along State Road 7.The Greater Wellington Chamber management team has had the opportunity to meet with Related Ross who is proposing a mixed-use development coupled with an education institution. From our initial meeting and presentation, we understand the “The Wellington Village” project will be a place for residents to use for events, holidays, community programming all within a lush and walkable setting. From the presentation we understand elements may include dedicated green space, walking path, sophisticated retail, restaurants, a boutique hotel, public gathering spaces, residential and a private non-profit K-12 School.
Your Chamber team believes it is important for each of you to hear firsthand from the Related Ross team as well as have the opportunity to ask questions and give input. In that, we would like to combine all committee meetings for the month of November into one meeting to learn about this project.
