The Historic Indian Agency House was built in 1832 as an embassy between the US Government and the Ho-Chunk Nation. It stood at the Portage, or carrying place, between Fox and Wisconsin Rivers during a pivotal moment in Wisconsin's past.Join the Agency House director Adam Novey in exploring this place and its stories.
