When one of her students is suspected of theft, teacher Carla Nowak decides to get to the bottom of the matter. Caught between her ideals and the school system, the consequences of her actions threaten to break her.

Since 2007, the European Parliament LUX films casts an annual spotlight on films that go to the heart of European public debate. The European Parliament believes that cinema, a mass cultural medium, can be an ideal vehicle for debate and reflection on Europe and its future.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Landmark E Street cinema is easily accessible by public transport. There are several private parking garages in the neighborhood. Patrons are encouraged to check their options beforehand.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Tickets are available by invitation only available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation. If you want to pass your ticket to a friend get in touch with us and let us know.

Will there be any refreshments?
Guests are invited to join us for a networking drink at 5:30 p.m. Furthermore it wouldn't be a cinema night without soda and popcorn - these will be provided. Additional food and beverage can be purchased at the cinema concession stand.

Does having a ticket guarantee me entry?
GENERAL ADMISSION tickets do NOT guarantee entry. Because tickets are FREE we find that we often get no-shows on the day. As such, we do overticket the event to allow for this. Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Early arrival is encouraged.
