Special Screening: Amazing Grace with Q&A

Grace, a crisis helpline volunteer, forms an unexpected bond with Walter, a deeply isolated man on the brink of a mental health breakdown. As their conversations unfold, she helps him confront the childhood trauma and shame he has spent a lifetime trying to survive.
Amazing Grace combines raw social realism with a restrained cinematic style to present an honest and deeply human portrayal of emotional struggle, while ultimately offering a message of hope and resilience.
The film will be followed by a Q&A with director Ruth Carney and writer, producer and actor Daniel P. Lewis.
Ruth Carney is an experienced TV and theatre director who has worked both on the West End and Broadway.
