Special Museum Store Event: Mimbres Art in Textile Trunk Show

Join us in the museum store for a trunk show with Charles Galatis of Mimbres Art in Textile. Charles has spent years working with textile artists and artisans in India and Southeast Asia. With a keen eye for design and details, he has collaborated with craftspeople working with sustainable materials—organic cottons, flax, linen, silk, natural dyes—and using traditional techniques, including block printing and hand weaving. The results are masterfully produced scarves, wraps, table linens, and textiles for home décor.
