About this Event
I’m Rae—a mama, a Big, and someone who’s fighting hard for her Littles.
Two of mine have learning and developmental differences. I’ve navigated school testing, psychiatric evals, therapy, IEPs, and way too many moments where the folks in charge just… didn’t know what they were allowed to do.
Let’s tell the truth: schools aren’t the only ones dropping the ball. A lot of us Bigs are overwhelmed, confused, or just plain tired. This call is a way to start showing up better—together.
I’m holding space for parents, caregivers, teachers, and any other Big trying to help a neurodivergent Little thrive. You don’t need to have the right words or know the laws by heart. You just have to care enough to try.
I’ll guide the conversation, answer what I can, and share what’s helped my own Littles along the way. Come ready to ask, listen, or just be in community. You’re welcome here.
What We’ll Cover
- How to get a child tested (with or without insurance)
- What schools can and can’t do—legally
- What to say in IEP meetings when something feels off
- How to spot red flags (in systems or your gut)
- What helps when your child is misunderstood
- Encouragement for staying the course when it’s hard
What to Expect
- A real, low-pressure space to get support
- Community vibes with lived experience, not lectures
- Room to ask what you’re afraid to ask
- Honest encouragement for any Big trying to do right by their Littles
