Special 2 Days: Lenguaje de tablao / The Language of the Tablao — Cachito Díaz
About this Event
Lenguaje de tablao / The Language of the Tablao
A Flamenco Workshop with Cachito Díaz
October 15 & 16, 2026 • 7:45–9:15 PM each day
Each class lasts 90 minutes.
About the Workshop
In the tablao, communication happens through listening, watching, and responding.
Join flamenco singer José “Cachito” Díaz for a workshop exploring the language that connects dancers, singers, and guitarists during live performance.
Designed for flamenco dancers, guitarists, singers, and students, this workshop explores how to communicate with the singing and guitar, recognize when to enter, signal for a sung verse (letra), a guitar passage (falseta), or a tapao, and build a structure in the moment without arranging it beforehand.
Deepen your understanding of the tablao’s shared cues and develop your ability to listen, understand, and respond to fellow artists on stage.
