Learn to Curl with Lake Tahoe Epic CurlingSpecial 1-day session on Saturday, January 10th, 10:00am-3:00pm
Curling has a rich history that combines strategy, team building and fun on ice.
Whether this is a first step to Membership or preparation for the Olympics, we break down the Learn to Curl classes (LTC) into easy portions. Our experienced volunteer instructors will teach the basics of the game, key terms, basic skills, how to score, start playing games and learn the importance of Broomstacking.
Curling will adapt to all abilities. As lessons build upon each other, you will gain the skill and confidence to join our leagues and play in weekend Bonspiels.
What you need: Carry in a pair of sneakers with clean soles, wear warm layers including a loose-fitting pair of pants, a jacket and gloves (arena temperature is around 40 degrees). Please bring clean shoes for wearing on the ice.
We provide:
- Fun, experienced instructors
- All the equipment needed for a one-of-a-kind experience
- Light snacks and beverages available after lessons
- BYO lunch break during the day
