About this Event
Australia - an island continent – needs ships both for trade and defence. The Aus-Ships database lists thousands of these vessels – commercial and military - past and present. The access database supports the 6500 page e-book by giving readers the ability to discover the shipbuilders and shipowners concerned.
The presentation to be given features the Aus-Ships layout and shows various facets – ranging from vessel histories (over 6000) and images (over 4000) including many foreign sailing vessels trading to Australian ports.
