The EAA Speaker Series returns to the EAA Aviation Museum on Thursday, January 16, 2025, when we welcome Hermon “Munster” Cook III.
On January 4, 1989, two American F-14 Tomcats from U.S. Navy squadron VF-32 engaged and shot down two Libyan MiG-23s over the Gulf of Sidra. One of the Tomcat pilots claiming victory was Cmdr. Cook.
During the presentation, Hermon will give a firsthand account of his encounter and his experience flying Tomcats. The event begins at 7 p.m. The event is free for EAA members and youths, and just $5 for nonmembers.
