Join The Durham Museum's Dr. Kyle Chattleton, public historian and former Monticello guide, as he explores the lives of Jefferson, the enslaved Fossett family and the Levy family, whose preservation of Monticello reflected the ongoing pursuit of liberty, equality and religious freedom.
Before the presentation, step back in time and feel the presence of the Founding Fathers at our newest exhibition, "In Search of the Signers." Starting August 1, view original documents signed by most of the brave men that signed the Declaration of Independence, including Thomas Jefferson.
