Speaker - Graham Keal - Oprah Winfrey Touched my Elbow
Graham's urge to generate laughter started early. He compered 6th-Form revue shows at school and again at Manchester University, went on to host charity fund-raisers in St Albans, entered talent shows and performed at folk clubs in Nortyhants, and even auditioned as a stand-up comedian for Opportunity Knocks.
He used his talent to amuse to embark on a second career as a speaker in 2006 while continuing in his primary job as a freelance showbiz writer. He has since entertained more than 300 audiences all over the UK with his three talks. Rotary Charter Nights and regional Rotary conferences, industry conferences, ladies' luncheon clubs, corporate events, WI gatherings, U3As and Probus clubs have all booked and enjoyed Graham's talks, all now available via Zoom or in person.
Recalling Graham Keal's funniest stories from literally thousands of celebrity encounters - not just Oprah - during his near 35 years as a showbiz reporter. Why was Sir David Attenborough making eyes at him? What made Jimmy Tarbuck such a pain – and why would Oprah touch Graham’s elbow? Book Graham to find out.
