SpeakEasy Story Club
Whether you've got a story to tell or just love hearing others spill the tea, this is an event for you!
Each event features 6-8 storytellers, and a unique theme that the tellers will base their stories around.
October's Theme is FEAR!
Whether you’re hoping to tell a story or just coming to listen, you’re part of the experience! Expect laughter, vulnerability, connection, and a few surprises along the way.
M.C. Candice Rose, will be guiding us through the night, keeping things fun and connected.
How It Works
- Doors open at 6:30 PM
- Stories begin at 7:30 PM
- Food and Beverages can be purchased before stories begin and at intermission
- A SpeakEasy Password, required at the door, will be sent via email two days before the event.
The Storytelling
To keep the space respectful and enjoyable for everyone:
- Stories must be true and your own
- Each storyteller has 5 minutes. Time will be gently kept.
- Storytellers will be a mix of scheduled and randomly chosen volunteers
- Please respond by email if you'd like to put your name in the hat!
- No notes preferred, but no one turned away from telling their story!
- Trigger warnings for sensitive subjects will be given when needed
