The SPCA of Brazoria County's Slumber Pawty has become a beloved annual event filled with fun, laughter, and meaningful connections between people and shelter pets. Here’s a look back at the incredible experiences from 2023 and 2024—and why you won’t want to miss the 2025 edition!
📌Slumber Pawty 2023
In 2023, the SPCA hosted its first Slumber Pawty, and it was an unforgettable experience. Participants spent the night at the shelter, snuggling with adorable, adoptable dogs, while raising awareness about the SPCA’s mission. The event featured:
😴Pajama Party Vibes: Everyone showed up in their favorite pajamas, and so did the dogs! Pups in tiny sleepwear melted hearts across social media.
Fun Activities: From bedtime stories with snacks to a “paw print painting” craft session, there was no shortage of entertainment.
❤️Furry Friend Bonding: Participants got to choose a dog for the evening, giving them one-on-one attention and cuddles. Many of these connections resulted in adoptions the very next day!
💰Fundraising Success: With the help of sponsorships and donations, the event raised funds to support medical care, food, and supplies for shelter animals.
