Come join us here in Sparks, Nevada for our second annual Sparks Bike and Trek. The details are on Runsignup https://runsignup.com/Race/NV/Sparks/SparksBikeAndTrekWe're planning on having a full course of biking and trekking with a non-supported transition. There will be approximately 7 to 9 miles of trekking and approximately 15 to 18 miles of biking. It will be a 6 hour event. We're also offering a shorter option; participants can either do the trekking or biking exclusively with a shorter time frame if time is a factor.
In case of inclimate weather there will be alternate trekking only cp's.
We'll have snacks and water available before and after the race. Participants are responsible for their own hydration and nutrition during the event. We also plan on having prizes for the top 3 overall.
We're using the Bend Racing mandatory gear lists for trekking and biking. Race updates will be posted on Facebook and via email for participants as the race gets closer.
Please arrive early as parking is limited at the trailhead. Pre-race brief at 7:30am with the race starting at 8am. This will be a one-time start and the course closes at 2pm for the full course.
