About this Event

Welcome to Sparkle Space: Heart Centered Movement for Women & Non-binary! Join us for a transformative experience at St. Luke's Church on the Avenue. This event is all about embracing movement, connecting with your heart, and fostering a sense of community. Let's come together to dance, breathe, and celebrate our unique humanness. Whether you're a seasoned mover or new to the dance floor, this event is open to all levels and reserved for women and non-binary folks. Let's create a safe and welcoming space where everyone can shine bright. Come as you are and let's sparkle together!

HOW TO GET THERE:

If you've never been to St. Luke's Church, it's on the corner of Chestnut and 36th Street and you should be able to find street parking nearby.

When you're walking up to the front of the Church, walk past the main "Church" part to the further door. Once you walk through the door, you'll see stairs to your left. Go up the stairs, turn right at the top and you'll find our room at the end.

TIMING:

We will start class promptly at 12pm. Please arrive 10 min or so ahead of time so that you can get settled. While class ends at 1:30pm, we often stay a few minutes after for anyone who wants to continue sharing. There will be an opportunity to head out if you need to!

WHAT TO BRING:

Feel free to wear whatever clothing you feel comfortable in. Most dance barefoot or in socks. The room has AC and Heat and please bring plenty of water with you to stay hydrated!

DONATION:

This event is hosted by Sparkle Space and is run completely on donation. After contributing funds back to the church to reserve the space, all other funds go towards facilitators and putting on more events like this in the future. Any and all donations are welcome. You can send them through @sparklespace on Venmo before or day of as well.
