Sparkle Family Fun Day

Come along and celebrate Trans Day of Visibility! This is a family friendly event with something for everyone! Open to LGBTQIA people and their friends and family.

This event is free to attend, but all funds go towards the Family & Youth Zone at Sparkle Weekend 2026 (reg. charity number 1134725). In collaboration with The Placard People and The Proud Trust.

What can you expect:

• Queer creatives market
• Kids scavenger hunt
• Pot your own house plant
• Electronics workshop
• Wellbeing drawing and painting
• Queer clothes rail
• Binder donation rail

Lunch, snacks and soft drinks provided.

Accessibility information:

• The Proud Place is accessible by wheelchairs including power chairs
• There are gender neutral toilets, including an accessible toilet
• A quiet sensory space is available for those who might need to decompress
• Masks and hand sanitiser available
• The Proud Place is a sober venue
• Friendly volunteers on hand to help all afternoon
• Different food options available, including vegetarian, vegan, meat, and gluten free
• Sanctuary is a nut-free event
