Hear how William Deng’s life story—including his faith and his journey to America—inspired him to help his community back in South Sudan. Fueled by a passion for education, he set up a foundation called Brother Deng to build a hospital and provide much-needed supplies to the area and the local school. Thanks to his work, thousands of people have gained access to medical care, clean water, school uniforms and more.
Bethlehem Lutheran will be collecting donations for Brother Deng and offering books to participants to further share his story and support the work William has done. A global offering will also be set up on the following Sunday and Wednesday to support William’s foundation.
