In the fall of 2025, our beloved friend and family member Deanne “Dee” Austin received life-changing news: she would need a full liver transplant.The months that followed were filled with countless medical appointments, difficult testing, and anxious waiting as Dee worked through everything required to see if she would even qualify for a transplant. After four long months of uncertainty, she finally received hopeful news in early January — she was approved for a transplant.
While this brings hope, it also brings overwhelming financial strain. The reality is that many of the medical costs will not fully covered by insurance.
That’s why we are coming together as a community to support Dee the best way we know how — with love, encouragement, and a fundraiser that can truly make a difference.
