Spanish Upskilling Courses for Primary School Teachers (A2.1 & A2.2)

Instituto Cervantes Dublin is delighted to offer fully funded Spanish upskilling courses for registered Primary School teachers as part of the Language Upskilling Scheme, funded by the Department of Education and Youth and administered by PPLI / Languages Connect.
These courses support the introduction of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) in primary schools under the redeveloped Primary Language Curriculum, helping teachers gain the linguistic confidence and practical skills needed to use Spanish meaningfully in the classroom.
📅 Course Dates: 22 September – 1 December 2026
🕓 Schedule: Tuesdays, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
💻 Delivery Mode: Online (Zoom)
⏳ Duration: 20 hours (2 hours per week over 10 weeks)
📚 Available Levels:
• Spanish Upskilling – Level A2.1
• Spanish Upskilling – Level A2.2

📝 Assessment Test & Registration
To ensure the appropriate course level, participants are required to complete a short level assessment consisting of a grammar questionnaire and a brief phone conversation with a teacher.
