Join us for a fun and welcoming beginner Spanish class in the beautiful setting of Alma de España. Spanish & Flavor combines practical language learning with the atmosphere of an authentic Spanish restaurant — perfect for anyone who has always wanted to learn Spanish but prefers something more social and relaxed than a traditional classroom.
During the class, we’ll practice useful everyday Spanish, pronunciation, greetings, conversational phrases, and vocabulary you can actually use. No previous Spanish experience is required.
Guests may order food and drinks directly from Alma de España, with a minimum purchase of one tapa per guest.
Come on your own or bring a friend. The goal is to learn, laugh, connect, and leave feeling more confident speaking Spanish!
About Your Instructor
Cristina Angueira is a native Spanish speaker, longtime educator, tutor, Realtor, and community connector with more than 20 years of professional teaching experience.
Born and raised in Miami, Cristina grew up immersed in both Spanish and English and has spent her career helping students of all ages feel confident learning something new. She teaches Spanish with a practical, conversational approach that makes the language approachable — even for complete beginners.
Now living in Venice, Florida, Cristina combines her love of teaching, food, culture, and bringing people together through unique community experiences like Spanish & Flavor.
