About Your Instructor
Cristina Angueira is a Cuban-American native Spanish speaker and educator with 22 years of teaching experience. She's also known in the community as a Realtor and more! Born and raised in Miami, she is proud of her Cuban heritage and passionate about sharing language, culture, and education in a warm, approachable way.
Her teaching style is relaxed, practical, and encouraging, making Spanish feel comfortable and accessible — even for complete beginners.
For Cristina, this event is about more than learning Spanish. It’s about celebrating Hispanic culture, bringing people together, and supporting a local Cuban-owned restaurant in the Englewood community.
