Spady Museum's Black History Study Program

Welcome to the Spady Museum's Black History Study Program!

We are excited to invite you to take part in this transformative program. The Spady Museum's Black History Study Program is dedicated to preparing the next generation of changemakers.

This seven-month program offers an interactive curriculum that connects middle and high school students—as well as adults—to Black history through creative expression and community engagement. Led by Brian Knowles of Power Builders, the curriculum incorporates modern storytelling and technology to explore how the African Diaspora and American history intersect today.

This is a multi-day program running from September 13 through March 19
