Spaceship Earth Explorers: After School Program- Woodcroft Library
About this Event
Full of fun, visual and creative hands-on activities- with the added bonus of building maths skills and exploring the people-focused side of science! Throughout this 4- week program beginning November 4, School-aged children will explore:
- how stars can tell us when seasons are changing
- how satellites orbit Earth through the use of interactive tech
- explore the weird things that happen in space through spatial dimensions
- create an artwork using repeated patterns that doubles as a great Christmas decoration!
Prior experience is not required, but curiosity is essential!
This 4-week program features different activities each week. While attending all four sessions is recommended to get the most from the program, children are welcome to join individual sessions.
