Space For God Retreat 2026
About this Event
Welcome to the Space For God Retreat 2026.
“What would happen if we got away from the regular pace and flow of life and really opened ourselves up to be honest with one another and God about life?” Well, in 2005 a group of guys did just that and now, 21 years later, we still host a weekend to come, to listen – again or for the first time – truths that God wants men to know about who He is, about how He interacts with people in both the storied pages of the scriptures and still works today.
YOU are invited to come this year! Come join us and experience God through the ongoing ministry of Christ through His Spirit and your fellow brothers. The Mountain Springs Lodge facility is the perfect spot to get away, experience both community and solitude as we reflect on how God moves in and amongst our world and how we can grow deeper in relationship with Him.
What to Expect
The retreat is built around extended times of Fellowship, Teaching, Worship and Solitude. Our leaders will lead us through worship and the Word, small group discussion and fellowship time. You will have a solid 4 hour time in the middle of the retreat to get alone with God and ask Him to speak truth to you. We encourage you to come willing to be honest with yourself and with God. Some men come with deep hurt that needs attention, some come with great praise that needs to come forth. But come, expecting to meet with other men who, like you, need the voice and presence of God to reign in and over you.
Bring some warm clothes, something to jot down your thoughts, a Bible if you've got one. We will feed you (lots!) and you will have wonderful accommodations to make you comfortable. But plan to get stirred by the truth that you are profoundly loved by a God who is neither disappointed in nor distant from you.
Ticketing Update
This year we are moving to "Register and Pay at the Door" only with Cash, Check or Venmo to reduce ticketing expense and keep our costs at $250 per person (covers lodging, gathering space and meals).
About our Speaker - Aaron Bauer
Aaron Bauer has spent more than 30 years helping people follow Jesus with clarity and purpose. He serves as Lead Pastor of Issaquah Christian Church in Washington State, where he is passionate about multiplying disciple-makers and guiding others into a life of intentional spiritual formation.
Aaron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and a Master of Divinity, and brings a deep love for biblical teaching and practical discipleship. His teaching often centers on two foundational questions: Who do you say Jesus is? And who does Jesus say you are?
He and his wife, Heather, have been married since 1996 and have raised six adopted children—an experience that has profoundly shaped his understanding of grace, identity, and the Father heart of God. These days, they are joyfully stepping into the season of grandchildren.
When he’s not teaching or leading, Aaron enjoys the beauty of the Pacific Northwest—especially mountain biking, hiking, and getting a game of basketball in whenever he can.
