About this Event
This child-friendly program, One World, One Sky, follows Sesame Street's Big Bird and Elmo as they explore the night sky with Hu Hu Zhu, a Muppet from Zhima Jie, the Chinese co-production of Sesame Street. Together, they take an imaginary trip from Sesame Street to the moon, where they discover how different it is from Earth. Guests will learn about the Big Dipper, the North Star, the Sun and the Moon. One World, One Sky is the perfect introduction to space for our youngest astronomers!
Guests will also be exposed to the current early summer night skies and focus on the area of the sky that is in heart of the summer scorpion constellation. Learning how to use a simple partial-sky star map is also included.
TICKETS ARE SOLD ONLINE ONLY. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.
Please note that we are a ticketless venue. When you buy your ticket online or over the phone, you are immediately added to our attendee list so there is no need to print your ticket or present an e-ticket. You can just check-in on show night with your name and smile at the door.
Parking is free.
Food and drink are not allowed in the planetarium.
Most appropriate for our youngest astronomers.
*No refunds at any time.
