SPA! Seedling Protection Activity @ Mandai Buffer, 05/09/2026
About this Event
We will be working at our reforestation site at Mandai Buffer, which we previously worked on during our Buffer Parks restoration series in 2024!
Join us as we continue to care for the planted trees by conducting periodic maintenance (i.e. weeding) to help them grow better.
This is a great opportunity to spend a morning outdoors, learn about forest restoration, and contribute to Singapore’s biodiversity efforts.
Getting there:
For RVRC residents, transport from RV is provided; meet us at 8.15 am at the Dining Hall.
For participants who will be heading there directly, meet us at 8.45 am at the Opp Bird Paradise Bus Stop (Bus Stop number: 48111)

Attire:
- Long pants
- Covered shoes
Preparation
- Water bottle (at least 1L)
- A cap/hat
- Umbrella/raincoat
- Arm sleeves
- Sunscreen
- Insect repellent

- Gardening gloves
Eat breakfast and hydrate before coming!

***Ridge View Residential College (RVRC) is a residential college of NUS which focuses on sustainability and workplace readiness.
