Soy is So Much More! @Treehouse Children's Mueum
Did you know that soybeans are one of Louisiana's important agricultural crops and can be used to make everything from milk and tofu to meat alternatives?
Join us at the Treehouse Children's Museum for a special hands-on learning experience with the LSU AgCenter as part of our November theme, What We Eat!
Children will discover where soybeans come from, explore the many foods made from soy, and learn how this little bean provides an important source of protein in our diets.
Through interactive activities and exploration, we'll connect agriculture, nutrition, and the foods families enjoy every day!
Saturday, November 7
10:00 AM–12:00 PM
This program is FREE with museum admission!
Bring your curious little learners and join us for a morning of discovery as we explore how one small bean can do so much!
