Sower's Pup 2026 - Public Competition Homebrew Tasting Event

Join us for a fun-filled evening of tasting various craft beers at Park Centers Banquet Hall! Whether you're a beer connoisseur or just looking to have a good time, this event is perfect for you.
The Sower’s Cup is a top nationwide homebrewing competition, held right here in Lincoln. Every year we receive up to 402 entries (2 bottles each) from homebrewers around the country, making this one of the largest competitions in the region. Of these entries, only the winner of each of the 36ish categories will have their second bottles move on to the Best of Show round, which leaves us with a lot of competition-level bottles of craft beer, cider and mead!
We have decided that the best use of all of the unopened submissions would be partner with a local nonprofit and invite the public to join us in sampling this incredible range of brews. We are so happy to AGAIN be partnering with The Farm: Senior Dog Sanctuary! All proceeds of this event will go directly to this great non-profit, helping them to maintain a peaceful, joyful, and loving forever home for senior dogs.
We are pleased to have the FOOD:30 food truck supporting this year’s event!
