Sovereign Santa Fe 2026
Once again, as fine art collectors and enthusiasts from around the world gather in Santa Fe this August, they will have the unique opportunity to experience the sixth official Sovereign Santa Fe 2026 (SSF2026) group art expo at La Fonda on the Plaza in the Lumpkins Ballroom and Mezzanine.

Organized by FaraHNHeight Fine Art, Sovereign Santa Fe is a free-admission contemporary Indigenous arts exhibition, showcasing cutting-edge creativity. Sovereign’s mission is to create a platform to highlight New School Indigenous arts and the relationship between collective culture and individual innovation. Established to give vibrant Native American artists and artists of Native American descent an on-trend platform to showcase and share their accomplished works and talents.

SSF2026 includes Sovereignly Fit Runway Showcase; a fashion show; Sovereign Marketplace on the Mezzanine, a four-day art market; and Sovereign Santa Fe 2026 Fine Art Expo, a three-day art exhibition. Events take place from Thursday, August 13, through Sunday, August 16, 2026.

Where: La Fonda on the Plaza, Lumpkins Ballroom and Mezzanine; second floor above the lobby. Sovereign Santa Fe is a collaborative undertaking by FaraHNHeight Fine Art Gallery, curator Gregory Farah, art advisor Tony Abeyta (Diné), La Fonda on the Plaza, the Contemporary Native American Arts Group, Towering Stone, Sacred Defense Fund, and, most importantly, the fine artists that we have the honor to represent. Some proceeds from Sovereign Santa Fe will go to Sacred Defense Fund, a Native-led nonprofit based in Santa Fe, dedicated to protecting the lands, waters, and communities of Turtle Island.

Sovereignly Fit Runway Showcase=
A ticketed two-night contemporary Native fashion extravaganza on Friday, Aug 14th, and Saturday, Aug 15th.
6:30 pm: Doors open
7:45 pm: Cocktail hour and shopping begin at 7:45 pm
8:30–9:30 pm: Runway shows
9:30–10:30 pm: Designer meet and greet and shopping.
Organized by Towering Stone Couture, a men’s luxury fashion and lifestyle brand founded by Loren Aragon of Acoma Pueblo. Tickets and more info at https://www.toweringstone.com/. Celebrating the strength, diversity, and resilience of Indigenous culture and couture, “Sovereignly Fit” strives to platform emerging and established creatives. The runway hosts both established and emerging designers who continue to shape and captivate the industry—from repurposed threads to luxury style. This year’s lineup includes the return of some crowd-pleasing favorites, as well as new designers who bring a new perspective to indigenous fashion. Each night will feature various entertainment elements to elevate the experience of art and fashion fusion. This highly anticipated fashion showcase continues as a collaborative production by Towering Stone, Sovereign Santa Fe, and the historic La Fonda Hotel.
