Southwest Washington Wind Symphony: Of Bloom & Brilliance

For its concert on Mother’s Day, the Wind Symphony will premiere From One Rose composed by Vancouver local Ronald Carr and arranged by Washougal resident David Parker who is an accomplished arranger, composer, and retired music educator. The piece is a heartfelt homage to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Conductor Patrick Murphy from the University of Portland will share the podium with Band Director Jarod Sorum from Camas High School. The program also includes Selections from “Wicked” arranged by Jack Bocook, Febris Ver by Nancy Galbraith, The White Rose by John Philip Sousa, and more.
