This will be a great night of music with 2 groups that are new to The Hall, and we are delighted to welcome them. Generational Wealth will take the stage at 8 pm, followed at 9 by Claire Hinkle. Take advantage of the presale tickets, as ticket price at the door will be $20.
There will be a full bar for your enjoyment, and Mama Lu's food truck will be on site so come hungry!
Born in 2001 in Fort Worth, Texas, to an attorney mother and professional musician father, Claire Hinkle grew up with music all around her. Learning turn of phrase from her dad, she learned her first chorus to one of his songs at the age of 7. In a few years, she began to feel comfortable performing with him. By age 15, she was developing her own style and began performing solo around her hometown. After graduating high school in 2019, Claire moved to New York to study music and philosophy at The New School, graduating in 2022. During college, she played iconic New York venues like The Bitter End. Upon returning to Texas, Claire formed a band that performed regionally for a few years. After a visit to the LUCK Reunion at SXSW 2024, she was invited to perform with friends for the LUCK After Party at Poodies Roadhouse, where she was inspired to return to her Country Americana roots. Her ensuing batch of new songs caught the attention of GRAMMY-winning producer Shooter Jennings, who has gone on to produce several singles, with more in the works.
Fort Worth TX based Generational Wealth’s first EP, The Hell I Won’t, is out now on all streaming platforms. After opening for The Texas Gentleman and playing at Arts Goggle Arts Festival, they were nominated for Best New Band at the Fort Worth Weekly music awards. Their first single came out in April of 2023 and received praise as well comparisons to the likes of Elle King, Grace Potter, and Heart.
Generational Wealth was started by vocalist Bethany Doolin and guitarist Matt Carter after they met working at a a little dive bar called Lola’s Trailer Park in Fort Worth. Bethany met drummer Jared Herzog while serving him at Lola’s and six months later, Matt and Beth decided it was time to start a full band. They invited Jared and bassist Alex Weidermen to audition. The stage was set, and the band was started. After playing a few shows, they felt something was missing, and that puzzle piece was guitarist JW Wesson. After filling that void that only JW could fill, the band knew that they were finally complete.
