The Southport Inshore Challenge is a fun, family-friendly red drum tournament that combines competitive fishing with a relaxed and welcoming format. Anglers can use live, dead, or artificial bait, fish with as many people as they like, and compete without a live weigh-in requirement.

Hosted at Morningstar Marinas Southport, the event features registration, a captains’ party, weigh-in, awards dinner, and awards ceremony all in one scenic waterfront location. Teams compete for cash payouts on a single red drum leaderboard, along with optional TWT categories and special prizes.

Bonus payouts reward anglers who weigh in fish alive, while additional prizes recognize junior, lady, and senior anglers.
