Join Southern Oregon PBS for a special screening of The American Revolution, the new Ken Burns docuseries that brings to life the origins, conflicts, and legacy of America’s founding war through his renowned storytelling. This 36-minute screening features clips from throughout the six-part, 12-hour documentary series.
After the screening, stay for a discussion with SOPBS CEO Phil Meyer about the state of public media and the power of storytelling in shaping civic understanding.
Watch The American Revolution on SOPBS at 8pm nightly from Sunday, November 16 through Friday, November 21.
This program is part of the library’s Declaration 250 series, honoring the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026. This program is free and open to the public. A library card is not needed to participate.
