Join Oregon Spinal Cord Injury Connection (OSCI) for a day of fishing and community connection at Jackson County Expo ponds. This event is designed for anglers of all abilities, providing an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors in a supportive environment. The park features a universally accessible fishing pier, ensuring everyone can participate comfortably.Highlights:
Accessible Fishing: Utilize the park's accessible fishing pier, designed to accommodate individuals with disabilities.
Target Species: The primary species we’ll be fishing for are rainbow trout stocked by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW).
Fishing Licenses: Complimentary single day fishing licenses are available upon request.
Equipment: Fishing gear will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own equipment.
Assistance: OSCI volunteers will be on-site to offer support, guidance, and assistance with fishing techniques.
Refreshments: Light snacks and beverages will be available for participants.
