Call for Papers: Southern Finance Association 2026 Annual Meeting
The Southern Finance Association (SFA) is pleased to invite submissions for its 2026 Annual Meeting, which will take place at the La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs, California, from November 18–21, 2026. We welcome papers in all areas of finance, as well as proposals for panel discussions, special sessions, and tutorials.
Conference Highlights:
Keynote Speaker: We are honored to host Professor David Hirshleifer (University of Southern California) as this year’s keynote speaker.
Doctoral Student Opportunities: The SFA is committed to supporting emerging scholars. We offer fee waivers for submissions where all authors are doctoral students. Additionally, the conference features a $1,000 award for the Best Doctoral Student Paper and two $500 runner-up awards.
Submission Details:
Deadline: Friday, March 13, 2026 (11:59 pm EST).
Review Process: All submissions will undergo a double-blind review by the program committee.

This year's program is led by VP-Program Anya Mkrtchyan (University of Massachusetts–Amherst) , supported by a distinguished team of track chairs from institutions including Emory University, Colorado State University, and the University of Arizona.
