During this 2 day workshop we’ll learn to create patterns for your custom moccasins. You will also learn how to take measurements in order to make pairs in the future, for you or anybody else.
These will be the softest, quietest , most comfortable shoes you have ever worn, ideal for hunting, stalking, forest walks, ceremony and just lounging around.
We will cut out the patterns in buckskin or elk hide, learn the appropriate stitches, and sew with a sharp awl and buckskin thong (lacing). When finished we will discuss additional soles, padded insoles, fur-on designs, shoelaces and high tops!
