How It Works
📍 Pick up a printed scavenger hunt brochure at the South Wood County Historical Museum or download the PDF from our event page.
📸 Visit each featured location and take a selfie or photo at every stop.
🏛️ Bring your photos to the South Wood County Historical Museum by August 25, 2026, to complete the challenge.
🎉 Everyone who completes the scavenger hunt will be entered into a drawing for a 2027 South Wood County Historical Corporation Membership!
Prize Includes
• A 2027 South Wood County Historical Corporation Membership
• Complimentary back issues of Artifacts, our historical magazine
• An invitation to the Members Reception during the Annual Christmas Tree Walk
The scavenger hunt can be completed at your own pace anytime between August 9 and August 25. Whether you're exploring on your own, with friends, or as a family, it's a fun way to experience local history while visiting some of South Wood County's historic landmarks.
Need help or ready to complete the hunt? Stop by the museum during our office hours:
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday | 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Additionally, you can stop in during our exhibit hours on Sundays from 1-4 p.m.
