South Strabane Township is pleased to announce the 2025 Fall Leaf Pickup Program, conducted by the Public Works Department. Curbside leaf bag collection will take place every Monday from October 27 through December 1.
To participate, residents must use biodegradable paper leaf bags. These bags are available at the Township Municipal Building — with the first bundle of five bags FREE per household. Additional bundles can be purchased for just $2 each.
This program is designed to help residents manage leaf removal during the fall season. Please note the following guidelines:
Leaves only — no grass clippings or other yard waste.
Do not tape or staple the bags.
Bags must be placed curbside by 7:30 a.m. on collection days.
To ensure timely service for all, Public Works will allow a maximum of 10 minutes per property for pickup.
We appreciate your cooperation in keeping South Strabane clean and beautiful this fall!
Please remember to place leaves only in the bags, and do not tape or staple the bags.
