South Shore Speed Dating

This event is for men seeking women, and women seeking men. All events are for people located within a 100-mile radius of Chesterton, Indiana.

Age Range: 49-69

Date: Thursday, October 23, 2025, 6:30pm Central

Location: 219 Taproom, 109 South Third Street, Chesterton, IN 46304

One-drink minimum - please support our gracious hosts!

How it works:

Please arrive at least fifteen minutes or more prior to the stated start time. This will allow time to register (you will be asked to show identification in order to confirm your age and location), receive your name badge, honor your one-drink-minimum agreement, and find your seat prior to the actual timed dates.

Women: You’ll take a seat at your assigned table once you’ve purchased your drink.

Men: You’ll be grouped temporarily with other male attendees.

The host will review some basic information.

Then, the speed dating begins! Men will proceed to their assigned first table.

Each encounter will be 3 minutes in length. It is only meant to allow enough time for you to determine whether you’d like to get to know each other better.

Once the three minutes is up, you’ll have a few minutes to make notes, if desired. The women will stay at their assigned tables, the men will rotate.

At the end of the event, you’ll turn in your form with your choices circled. If you circle a person’s name, this means you are interested in learning more about that person. If you are not interested in further contact, do not circle the name, and your contact information will not be shared with that person.

Mutual matches (you circle their name AND they circle yours) will be notified of each other’s interest by email (from our South Shore Speed Dating email address) within two days (48 hours) of the conclusion of the event. Only your email address will be provided to your matches. You will also be notified if you have not matched with anyone.

Please note: the only way you will receive your matches is via email. This will also be the only way for you to contact your matches for the first time (you can mutually agree to share additional information later.) Please check your spam folder regularly in the days following the event.
