The South Ridge Trail Challenge is the region's premier early summer trail race. Taking place on the South Ridge of North Park in Allegheny County, it offers a spectacular array of trails for runners and hikers of all abilities. This race will offer distances of 5k, 10k and 20k over loose dirt/gravel roads as well as beautiful rocky and root-covered single-track trail. NEW IN 2024 - Part of the GCXC "MAX VERT" summer trail challenge. In combination with the Murrysville Monster and the Two face 10K, these 3 events will be sure to push you to MAX VERT.
