Soccer cleats too small but in great shape? Yarn stash starting to over flow? Changing up your home décor? Bring your items and swap them for something to better suit you in your next season. Each month will have a specific theme for items we’ll be swapping (keep an eye out for lists with more info on what will be accepted). Please only bring items that are in good and working condition.

Getting in a Cozy Fall Mood

(craft supplies (yarn, paints, sewing supplies, clay, etc); books;
puzzles; movies)
Pet Supplies at the Mongrel Mash
Saturday, October 18th, 10am-12pm, Mill Creek Park
(leashes, harnesses, bowls, etc.)
Medical/ Exercise Equipment at the Health and Wellness Fair Saturday, November 15th, 10am-2pm, South Portland Community Center
(health supplies (crutches, braces, shower chairs, etc.); fitness supplies (stretch bands, yoga mats, weights, etc))
Regift, Before you Buy
Thursday, December 11th, 4-7pm, South Portland Community Center
(kids toys, baking supplies, misc items that would make cool gifts)
This series is in partnership with the South Portland Sustainability Department, as an extension of their Swap Shop: "Swapping goods is a great way to reuse and reduce the quantity of materials entering the waste stream, while building community connections".
All items that go unclaimed at the end of the evening will be donated to a local organization to help get those items into the hands of those who need them.
