South Platte River Cleanup

Come clean up the South Platte River and Confluence Park. We will meet at the landing under the REI flagship store in Denver and remove trash along the footpaths. After a rainy spring, this cleanup will target debris accumulated along the river from stormwater runoff.

Join our cleanup crew for a chance to win a United by Blue backpack. Stick around for free fruit-based ice cream from Banananom. Impact-focused businesses from the Denver area will be there to share some of thier amazing work. Kids are more than welcome to attend!

All cleanup gear (gloves, pickers, buckets, & trash bags) will be provided, but feel free to bring your own gloves if preferred. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes, and don't forget sun protection and rain gear (just in case! ☔️). Lastly, be sure to bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. 💧A water cooler will be available for refills.

Getting there: Bike, walk, or drive to Confluence Park. Paid parking is available across from the REI, there is also street parking around the area.
