Welcome to the South Island Latin Championship 2026, the competition that brings together the best Latin Dancers New Zealand has to offer!!Donna and Warren Frost are pleased to invite all New Zealand Latin dancers to the 23rd year of this competition to be held at Auripo Auditorium, Hagley College.
Categories for 2026 include:
- Freestyle Categories in Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba,
- Jack & Jill Categories in Salsa and Bachata
- Choreographed couples in all Latin Styles
- Adult Latin & Salsa Solos
- Adult Amateur and Pro-Am Duets
- Youth Salsa & Latin Solos and Duets
- Youth Salsa & Latin Shine Teams
- Team Shines and Team Couples in both Salsa & Latin
- Latin Showcase Teams
Event times:
Doors open 1:30pm
Freestyle Sections start @ 2pm followed by Youth and Choreographed sections.
Entries opening soon!!
Spectators tickets available soon!
- Children (under 16 years) - $15
- Students (with valid ID) - $20
- Adults - $25
